Lucas Francis recently etched his name in the annals of Pennsylvania high school bowling history with an unparalleled achievement: the talented bowler finished his senior season with an average of 243.1, the highest ever recorded in the state. He competed at North Penn High School in Lansdale and was also a member of the Sproul Lanes junior program in Springfield.
Francis’s prowess was further highlighted by his high series of 867, a feat that not only solidifies his place in state history, but also ties the national high school record. Additionally, his exceptional skills were exemplified by an impressive 300 game during his senior year, coupled with numerous near-perfect 299 games.
Lucas is currently preparing for his 3rd year at Purdue University where he is pursuing a degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science, complemented by a minor in Environmental and Ecological Engineering.
